Celebrate Recovery is at home… actswaco.com
Can I Get A Witness?
Last night at the YSMF Celebrate Recovery meeting at Acts Church was
Testimony/Birthday Chip night. On the third Thursday of every month, we
take a break from studying biblical recovery principles and listen to a
testimony of God’s grace and faithfulness throughout the journey. This was
an especially blessed time for me last night as it was my turn to testify.
The hard part was to edit it down to fit the allotted time because it is so easy
to recall one amazing work of God after another in my life over the years!
The most incredible part was to stand facing the audience and watch them
respond to stories of God’s love, grace, rescue, and transformation, as well
as the importance of investing in their recovery journey by investing time in
His presence. From my vantage point of facing the crowd, I had the privilege
of watching as the Holy Spirit moved during that meeting to touch and further
heal wounded souls, provide hope and encouragement, and validate
precious individuals that Christ came to set free.
Please pray for provision for child care at the Celebrate Recovery meetings.
Blessings!

I waited patiently for the Lord;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord
and put their trust in him.

Galatians 5:1 (ESV) For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
